Huawei’s Framework for Enterprise AI Transformation

Technology giant Huawei has introduced what analysts suggest is a comprehensive pathway for enterprises to adopt artificial intelligence at scale, according to reports from the Huawei Connect 2025 event in Shanghai. The ACT framework, derived from the company’s extensive project experience with customers, aims to help organizations move beyond pilot projects to large-scale AI implementation that generates tangible business value.

Industry Success Stories Demonstrate AI Impact

The foundation of the ACT pathway comes from documented success stories across multiple industries. Sources indicate that China Southern Power Grid implemented Huawei’s Ascend computing platform and MindSpore AI framework to develop a specialized large model called MegaWatt for the power sector. The report states this system combines computer vision and natural language processing to improve defect identification efficiency during power line inspections by five times, with image recognition accuracy exceeding 90%.

In healthcare, Huawei collaborated with Runda Medical to develop an AI medical record solution that reportedly generates accurate medical records in approximately one second. The system recognizes doctor-patient conversations and automatically generates records that meet hospital standards, allowing medical staff to finalize documentation with minimal edits while improving patient interaction time.

The Three-Step ACT Pathway

According to the company’s presentation, the ACT pathway begins with assessment using Huawei’s AI Scenario Evaluation Framework. This tool reportedly helps enterprises identify and implement more than 1,000 core AI production scenarios by evaluating business value, scenario maturity, and business-technology integration.

The calibration phase focuses on building and training industry-specific models with vertical data. The report states that Huawei provides a full toolchain to transform raw data into knowledge and eventually into functional models. This includes MRS, a unified lakehouse platform that enables enterprises to stream raw data into a data lake and convert it into structured, ready-to-use data assets.

The transformation step involves deploying AI agents rapidly into business operations. Huawei’s Versatile platform reportedly automatically generates AI agents and workflows with more than 100 steps, while an AI talent enablement program helps business professionals develop, deploy, and operate these agents effectively.

Supporting Infrastructure Requirements

The successful implementation of the ACT pathway requires what sources describe as an AI-oriented ICT infrastructure covering the entire process from data preparation to model training and inference. According to reports, Huawei’s Unified Cache Manager plugin enables large models to transition from limited, session-based memory to long-term memory, allowing AI agents to retain and recall information over time.

The company’s 800GE high-speed networking solution reportedly supports clusters four times larger than industry standard, while their Network Scale Load Balance algorithm increases network utilization from 80% to 98%. For model training and inference, Huawei’s SuperPoD solution can allegedly support trillion-parameter models with training efficiency three times greater than traditional solutions.

Ecosystem and Industry Applications

Huawei’s partner ecosystem plays what analysts suggest is a crucial role in delivering industry-specific solutions. The company reportedly maintains partnerships with over 6,300 Kunpeng partners, 2,700 Ascend partners, 70 consulting firms, and 750 ISVs. This collaboration has produced specialized solutions across multiple sectors, mirroring industry developments in other technology domains.

These initiatives have led to cutting-edge solutions including City AI Centers, Foundation Model Solutions, Intelligent Computing Labs, and specialized applications for healthcare, banking, manufacturing, and energy sectors. The approach demonstrates how recent technology trends are converging to create comprehensive enterprise AI solutions.

As organizations worldwide grapple with implementing related innovations, Huawei’s ACT pathway offers what the report describes as a structured approach to scalable AI adoption. The framework addresses key challenges in data governance, model training, and operational integration that have previously hindered widespread enterprise AI implementation.
